About Ms. Amber King

Originally from northern Illinois, Amber attended Loyola University Chicago & spent her post-collegiate years living the city life. She could typically be found in the northern neighborhoods of Lincoln Park, Bucktown, and North Center. She then transplanted to San Diego, California, and after just a few winters without subarctic temps, it’s the SoCal life for her. 

A results-oriented leader with 15 years of digital marketing experience, Amber excels in developing and executing full-funnel social media strategies across all major platforms. As Director of Paid Social at Cendyn, Amber spearheaded the department's transformation, managing a $9.5 million annual media spend and gaining expertise in the hospitality and real-money-gaming industries. She fosters high-performing teams, provides thought leadership on data-driven strategies, and drives operational excellence for seamless cross-departmental collaboration.

Before joining Cendyn,  Amber was at iProspect for over 8 years. During that time, she gained digital media experience spanning across multiple channels while managing the search engine marketing (PPC & SEO) and social media efforts of retail, food & beverage, automotive, education, direct selling, defense technology, software, business service, financial services, health care, and travel clients.  She defined internal and external guidelines, provided strategic optimizations, and comprehensive analysis of results for integrated digital strategies, producing positive results, and achieving client goals.

Although Amber is passionate about all digital channels, she enjoys focusing her career primarily on the fast-paced, always changing paid social side of things. Her interest in consumer behavior and ways to successfully reach users throughout their digital journey has provided her a strong full-funnel digital strategy background. From this experience, she has found innovative ways to target unique audiences and driving increased action at an efficient CPA. She’s excited to continually be learning and educating herself on new social trends, offerings, and strategies.
